Spread the joy this Christmas and donate toys to children in need. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, especially for families with children who were already struggling before the pandemic. Even Christmastime, a season when we can usually expect gathering with good company and carefree merriment is uncertain for many this year. With soaring unemployment, food insecurity, and general anxiety, going out of your way to ring in the Christmas season seems less of a priority, even though it might be what our spirits need in such challenging times.
To ease the burden, St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angele is hosting a Christmas Toy Drive to benefit children from underserved communities from now until December 11, 2020. The toys will be part of our Annual Christmas Giveaway, but we need your help to make it a reality.
Drop off new, unopened toys for children under the age of 13 to St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles’ Main Office on Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The office located to the left of our Los Angeles Thrift Store’s main entrance. Ring the buzzer beside the blue door and say that you are donating to the Christmas Toy Drive. Every party who donates will receive a 20% off coupon to our thrift stores! Donations to this drive will not be sold at our thrift stores.
Our thrift stores, located in Los Angeles and Long Beach, are full of clothing, furniture, décor, electronics, and more items perfect for unique Christmas gifts and DIY projects.
