St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles is a Catholic volunteer organization serving people experiencing poverty and homelessness—of any faith or background—free of charge.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in Paris in 1833 by college student Frédéric Ozanam, who believed in putting faith into action. Over a century later, that same spirit of service lives on in Los Angeles.
Since 1904, Vincentian volunteers have walked alongside our neighbors in need—offering food, shelter, clothing, and connection across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties. From emergency assistance to long-term support, our goal is always the same: help people get back on their feet with dignity.

At the heart of Skid Row, our men’s transitional housing program offers safe shelter, steady support, and much-deserved dignity to those rebuilding their lives.

Powered by local Conferences and focused on humility, compassion, and care, Vincentian Services meets people where they are: through home visits, food pantries, and direct aid.

Nestled in the Los Padres National Forest near Santa Barbara, Circle V Ranch Camp gives kids space to grow in nature and spirit in their summer of discovery, connection, and joy!
