Help us Help Others
The effects of the COVID-19 outbreak have been devastating for small business and for the homeless community, among many other vulnerable groups. St. Vincent de Paul of LA’s homeless shelter, the Cardinal Manning Center (CMC), is no exception. Since the outbreak, volunteerism has dropped, which resulted in a dire food shortage for our homeless community members.
In response, St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles is asking for your help. We want to support our homeless neighbors but also support our small business at the same time.
We’ve started a CMC Meals Fund, where we will use donations to purchase meals from local restaurants to feed our homeless community. Please donate below and help us help others.
Do you know a restaurant that can donate meals?
The CMC is accepting donations of ready-to-eat meals for our homeless community members. We ask that donated meals be donated in bulk and able to feed around 35 people. To coordinate a drop-off or delivery please contact Diana Rongavilla at drongavilla@svdpla.org or call/text (213) 444-6819. Thank you.
