Last year, the Tzu Chi Foundation graciously partnered with St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles bi-monthly to provide necessary free eye exams to qualifying members of the community, and on February 20, 2020*, from 9 am to 2 pm, they are coming back!
The Tzu Chi Foundation holds all appointments in their mobile vision unit that will be parked in the upper lot of our Los Angeles Thrift Store. Appointments comprise of a free eye exam and free prescription glasses if needed.
Individuals must meet the following requirements to qualify.
-Is low-income
-Is 18 years of age or older
-Must not have vision insurance
-Have not had an eye exam in the last two years
-Must not own transportation
